Overview

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. Also, it is the largest city. Kathmandu valley is the most developed and popular country in Nepal. Its total area is about 49.45  square kilometers, Population of Kathmandu is around 1,442,300 ( in 2020). We can find a lot of ancient temples, historic sites, museums in Kathmandu. Moreover, It has a lot of beautiful places to visit like Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Durbar Square. Every day thousands of tourists from different parts of the world visit all the cultural, historical, and religious sites.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival to Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet our representative and welcome, assist and transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and get refreshed. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing tour

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing to Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. After sightseeing, back to the hotel and get refreshed and overnight at the hotel.
Pashupatinath Temple: It is one of the famous and sacred Hindu temples located in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the religious sites enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Boudhanath Stupa: It is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist stupa enlisted in the World Heritage site by UNESCO in Nepal. It is located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu.

Swayambhunath Stupa: It is one of the Holiest Buddhist stupas, also known as “Monkey Temple”. It is located on a hillside, west in the Kathmandu Valley. It is also enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Patan Durbar Square: It is one of the three Durbar Squares in Kathmandu Valley listed by the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is situated at the center of Lalitpur city. The old royal palace, Patan Museum, Mahaboudha, and beautiful Krishna Temple are some of the major attractions of Patan Durbar Square.

Day 3
Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur and Patan with sunset view from Nagarkot of Himalaya.

After breakfast, we will visit Patan Durbar Square which is rich in art ancient art and architecture. Patan Durbar Square is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites. We will also visit Bhaktapur, which is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the valley. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is 13 km far from the east of Kathmandu. Also, it is 1400 meters above sea level. Furthermore, it is the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. Then we will drive towards Nagarkot, It is one of the villages located at the rim of the Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the most scenic spots, famous for its panoramic view of the Himalayas and beautiful sunrise and sunset. People also prefer to go hiking at Nagarkot. Overnight at Nagarkot.

Day 4
Enjoy sunrise view at Nagarkot and Bungmati, Khakana and Kritipur

After the sunrise view, we will walk back to the hotel and have breakfast, and drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, we will visit Kritipur, Bungmati, and Khakana. Kritipur which is best for temple visits, traditional way of Newari life. It is one of the most famous and religious places to visit. Bungmati is the farming village of Newars and it’s a living museum and recalls medieval times. Walking around Bungamati takes you through several traditional houses typical Newari where woodcarvers can be seen handcrafting the sculptures and masks.

Day 5
Final Departure

Our representative will transfer you to the airport from where you will catch your flight.
